I finally had some time to play in my craft room this week. I found this sketch challenge over at http://www.palspaperarts.com so I thought I would play along. I can assure you, it has been a while since I made a card for a challenge.

Hello There
I made this card for the challenge over at Stampin Royalty this week. I shuddered when I saw that this challenge was a 'Clean and Simple' type of project. So while I was out watering my garden, I thought that I could use my washi tape. (Never opened). And, yes, there you have it, my very first clean and simple card that I actually like. Oh, and the best thing about this card, is it took longer to print out the image, than it did to make the whole card. I think I may make a few more of these and have then ready for those occasions when you just want to send a card because, you can.

Stampin Royalty Challenge #193
Here is my card for this weeks colour challenge at Stampin Royalty. The colours I have used are in the picture above. I have used the stamp set Pedal Presents which is a Stampin Up stamp set and the sentiment is an old retired stamp that I use all the time. This stamp is so old that I can not even remember what set it is from, although I do know that it is a Stampin Up stamp.

Stampin Royalty Photo Inspiration
This week at Stampin Royalty we have a picture inspiration challenge for you.
The idea is: make a card or project using the picture below as you inspiration. For my card I have taken the Hexagonal design on the wallpaper and the orange and yellow colours. I have used the six sided sampler stamp set and punch from stampin up. The sentiment is from the MDS digital kit called You're my Sunshine, coloured in Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight. Just a tad Hybrid with this one.

Showered with Love
Here is the card I made for the Color Throwdown challenge using the colour listed below. This was such an awesome selection of colours, I just had to make a card. So I decided that I would use one of my dies from Die-namics called Umberella. This is the first time that I have used this die, and it is great. I think I will have to go through my stash more often. The idea for the layout of this card came from the very talented Karen Giron, check out her card. She is amazingly talented, and I am a huge fan of her work.

Anything Goes Challenge
So on the Bugaboo Challenge site this week is a 'anything goes' project. I am not sure whether this project I am making quite qualifies for this heading, but I am going to post it anyway. This is going to be my catalogue for my digital stamps. (Mainly so I can keep track of them.) I have coloured in the stamps, using my favorite colours as the first page, and the second page has the colours again, with the copic marker numbers listed below the colour swatches. When I make a card, I will place a sample of the card on the 'cardstock' section of the page also. Hopefully, in about 10 years, I will have an A4 folder, full of index cards and colouring examples so I can refer to them. Being a Bugaboo Challenge, I thought my first page should be a bugaboo stamp, and I just adore Bently. After a few test runs, I hope to have a free download on my blog if required.

Color Coach - Blushing Bride 3
Here is the first card from the second selection of colours on the Color Coach from Stampin up. I'm not really sure whether I am happy with these colours or not, but that's part of the challenge isn't it.

Tart and Tangy
This little set here is one from Demo to Demo. There is a link on the right hand side of my blog to direct you straight there. It used the Tart and Tangy set from Stampin Up. Andreas' tutorial gives you exact cutting instructions for each card (wasting very minimal papers) and includes instructions for a little storage box as well. I use Andrea's tutorials a lot as they are so easy to follow.
