This week over at Stampin Royalty we have a masculine theme going on. All you need to do, is create a masculine card and upload it to our challenge site. It really is that simple.

Head on over to the site for some inspiration from the girls. I know, I will casing a few.

Picture inspiration time.

This week over at Stampin Royalty we have a picture inspiration challenge for you to try. I bet you can not guess which picture inspired my card. It's a little tricky. And, I must say, I think I nailed it.
Pop on over to stampin Royalty and have a look at what the other girls came up. They are a very talented bunch.

Ombre

Here is my OMBRE card for this week over at Stampin Royalty. Our theme is Ombre, as if you didn't know that already. I had to whip out the My Design Studio from Stampin Up, for this one, after I googled what Ombre was, that is. I used the digital stamp set, Lovely tree. I love the way you can re size the stamps and add special effects to them, like shadows. So I guess you could call this a Hybrid card. I also used varying shades of Crumb Cake, and Early Espresso. Head on over to Stampin Royalty and have a look at what the other girls came up with.

It's all Stripes

This week at Stampin Royalty is all about stripes. And, wouldn't you know it, I had no stamps available to me with Stripes. So having said that, I grabbed the next best thing. Zebras. Yeah, and I had the stamp set to match. So here is my card.

Photo inspiration at Stampin Royalty

Here is your photo inspiration for this week. I love the nautical theme of this photo. Really like the navy and white. So here is my card. I used the digital stamp The Open Seas (Stampin Up) so I could enlarge the stamp and create a larger background for my card.

Stampin Royalty Masculine/Dad challenge

Here is the card I have made for this weeks challenge over at Stampin Royalty. The theme for this challenge was Masculine - Dad. I used the boot from Bootiful Occasion from Stampin Up and also for the background paper I used the new stamp called Beyond Plaid.

Best Dad Ever

This week at Stampin Royalty, we have a picture inspiration challenge for you to try. I love these colours and had no problem coming up with a card for this week. Whilst making this card, my hubby walked into my room and asked if this was for him. (He thinks he is the best). So I guess I have made this card for my hubby. Should have had the door shut. Surprise blown! Again, I have used the My Design Studio to create the face of my card. Although I also have this stamp in a wooden style, I thought it may come in very handy in digital as well.

King of the Grill

This week Challenge from Stampin Royalty is a photo challenge. I decided that I would use this digital stamp from Stampin up, Yes, Digital Stamp from Stampin Up. So this picture reminded me of cooking in the kitchen. I used the red floor as inspiration for the colours, but somehow the kitchen became a BBQ. Not sure how that happened, but its okay. The picture is for inspiration. You can purchase this little fellow through my online shop on the right hand side of my blog.

Stampin Royalty Colour Challenge #167

Okay, so I have discovered that I am hopeless at blogging. I always seem to be missing the deadlines for posting my cards, and I have that much to blog (including Project life) it's not funny. I must schedule this blog into my routines and maybe I can get up to date. Sorry, if you have been waiting for this post.

The challenge at Stampin Royalty this week is a colour challenge.

I have used the stamp set from Stampin Up called Bootiful Occasions (spell check is going to love that one). I have not used this stamp set before, so I thought it was time that I used these boots on a card.

Well, firstly, yeah me. This year has started out with a blast. I am now, officially, a Designer for Stampin Royalty. How awesome is that. Then upload it to your blog or public gallery and be sure to add a link back here letting people know you're participating in our challenge! So here is the link: Go and have a look. I assure you, it is worth the time.

CMCC213 Sketch Challenge

For my second card for August Guest Designer with create with Connie and Mary, I chose to use  the stamp set Lovely as a Tree. The sketch above is what the card is based on, and proved to be a little bit more challenging than I first thought. I have gone with the regal colours, almost an (Autumn feel). It is so cold here in Australia, I probably should have used Summer colours instead.

August Guest Designer CCMC212

Well, I am excited and a little nervous at the same time. I am the Guest Designer for Create with Connie and Mary for the whole of August. That is 5 weeks of cards from me. What an honour. So here is my first card that I have made for the colour challenge using the above colours. If you go to the right hand side of my blog and click on the Create with Connie and Mary link, you will go straight to the challenge site. Have a look at the rest of the design team cards. They are all awesome.

Best Dad Ever

I made this card for the Paper Players this week using the tic tac toe challenge below. I decided that I would go with the middle line, being blue, dry embossing and masculine. Australia has fathers day in September, so I am ahead of the game with this one. I based my card on the Mojo Sketch this week as well, so I have finished two challenges in one.

Thank you - Stampin Royalty

So, all good thing must come to an end, and this is the end of my time with Stampin Royalty as a Guest Designer. I must admit, that I have had a ball over the past few months and will be at a loss as to what to do next. I would however like to take this blog opportunity to thank the girls at stampin royalty for making my time with them awesome. They are so talented and have amazing challenges and ideas. Pop on over and say hi.

My card for this week (Masculine) theme, was right up my alley. Being the only female in a house full of boys, I tend to make more male cards than female cards. From what I gather, this is unusual, but that's me to a tee.

I went with the Totally Tools stamp set from Stampin Up and used Real red, Basic Grey, Black and Whisper White. I also used the tiny pennant flags from Little Additions, also Stampin Up. Its a bit hard to see, but I used Crystal Effects on the handles of the tools as well. So, thanks for taking the time to look at my cards for the previous few months and leaving such awesome comments.  :)

Boys will be Boys

Here is my card for the Friday Mashup challenge number 60. The sketch above is what the card is based on, I think I may have gotten a little carried away with this one, as every time I added something else, it sort of looked okay. I have used Baja, Limeade, Night of Navy, Basic Grey, whisper white for my colours and the stamp set Best Dad Ever.

Up Up and Away FMS Challenge # 24

This card I made for the Freshly Made Sketches challenge. I have used the same stamp set, coloured card, well the same everything really, except the sketch.

Night of Navy Designer paper, Ink and Card
Whisper White
Cherry Cobbler Ink and Card
Craft ink and Card

Up, Up and Away Deconstructed Sketch

Here is the card I made this afternoon using the Deconstructed Sketch # 41. I chose the colours of this card from one that I had pinned on Pinterest earlier in the month and it just seemed fitting to go with this stamp set. I made the clouds using the top of the cup cake punch. Pretty good for clouds if I do say so myself.

Oh WOW. How is this. Here is the original card that I used for the colours of this sketch.

I was wondering why this card came together so nicely, although I do think that Wendy's card is a lot better visually that mine is. I can't believe how close these cards both are, considering I used a sketch.
