Copic Marker Journal with Bugaboo

So, finally I have finished my first page (of many) of my Copic Marker Journal. I am hoping to have the document as a free download very soon. The journal currently is up to page 21, so it is a pretty large file. So Bugaboo is having an anything goes challenge, and as far as anything, I think this qualifies. So a very quick explanation. The top section has all of my red markers listed with swatches. The second section has my favourite blends that I use, the third section has some examples of the blends and the fourth section has room for some images that I will stamp at a later date when I get some more colours. Because the stamps I have used are from Bugaboo, and I have purchased these through their online store, I have placed my watermark over the images. These are not on my original copies. Any comments would be greatly appreciated and I look forward to posting some more soon.

There is a direct link to Bugaboo, on the left hand side of my blog under Digital Stamps. Click on the link and it will take you straight to the challenge.

Harvest Time at Bugaboo

Wow, it has been so long since I have used Blogger, everything is different. I hope this post works the way it is supposed to. So Bugaboo is having a challenge called Harvest time. I had previously purchased this little fellow, although never found a place on a card for him. This seemed to be the perfect opportunity to just that. So here he is, pumpkin'ed up and ready for business.

You can catch the challenge here: its-harvest-time-at-bugaboo

Woohoo, thanks Bugaboo. I win 4 free digital images from Jodi. Off shopping I go.

Saturated Duos

Well, I guess this post is pretty self explanatory really. I have made a card using the above colour challenge from Dynamic Duos as my colour guide. The digital stamp is from Saturated Canary, just the name says enough. Awesome. I have a few of these digital stamps that I will be bringing to life over the next few weeks. Pop on over to http://thedynamicduoschallenge.blogspot.co.nz and have a look at all the amazing cards using the same colour scheme.

Teacher - Thank you

I have made this card for one of Nathan's Teachers as a thank you for a great year. No guessing what the teacher was teaching though. Yes, you guessed right, it was Automotive.

The image came from www.karensdoodles.com, (I hope). If not I will edit this post when I gather all the details. So here is the close up of the image. The card stock consisted of the following.

Not Quite Navy
Real Red
Old Olive

Home Sweet Home - Scene it

Here is my submission for the Bugaboo Challenge for this week. The challenge is to create a scene using digital stamps. I have used three different stamps from the A Kids View range from Bugaboo Stamps and used my Mac to combine them to create this scene. I have used Stampin Up real red, chocolate chip, whisper white and old olive paper. I used the Neighbourhood roller wheel to create the background papers, stamping with the same colour ink as the card. I have used chocolate chip ribbon, and designer buttons. There is a little bit of faux stitching thrown in for good measure. I have also used a 'Deconstructed Sketch' by Jen. The link is on the left hand side of this blog.

Here is a closer image of the coloured scene. I have used my Copics for the colouring and shadowing.

Bugaboo CAS Challenge

Here is the card I have made for the Bugaboo Clean and Simple Challenge for this week. Although this is a very basic card, it is quite difficult to stop adding elements. So I stopped at two buttons and a few strips of card stock only.

Here is the blown up image that is on the front of my card. The digital stamp comes from Bugaboo Stamps, of course and I used my copics to colour in the image.

Just a Boy and his Dog

I have had this card sitting in my 'Project' draw for months now, trying to figure out what I was going to do with it. I firstly added some yellow patterned paper to the background but quickly removed that, then I had some Real Red Designer paper, and as you can see, I removed that too. What to do, what to do. I then decided last night at about 11 o clock, that I would remove all patterned paper and start again. This is what I came up with. I added the chipboard star and real red button this morning at 6 am. Now I'm happy.

I coloured this image from Bugaboo Stamps using my copic markers, although, it was a long time ago while I was trying to work out how to blend properly. I also used the technique inlaid embossing for the red and blue squares behind the coloured image.

Supplies used

Copic Markers
Embossing Folder with Sizzix
Chipboard Star
SU Real Red Button
SU Real Red
SU Night of Navy
SU Whisper White

New Bugaboo Challenge

This card here is for the new bugaboo challenge - 4 layers or more, for this week. I enjoy the challenges because it give you a reason to sit down, relax and enjoy creating. Thanks for looking.

Pocket Organiser

Here is another page from my Digital Organiser I am currently making. Apart from the A4 pages, including the binder index card and colouring page, I will be including a template so you can have a pocket version as well. I will be adding spiral binding to the pages, but I am not finished putting all the pages in as yet. I am using a ring clip. So here are the first three pages of the Bugaboo Section for you to look at. I am almost ready for the template to be down loadable. I just want to make sure it is right first. Sorry, I forgot to mention that the dimensions for this pocket organiser is 2.5" x 5". Perfect for you scrap / crop bag.

Introducing Donna

I thought I would introduce you all to Donna. I grabbed this digi stamp from Tiddlyinks. Really cute. I also used the colour coach from stampin up for the colour scheme. The main card colour is Basic Grey.

Easter Wishes

I made this card yesterday using a bugaboo stamps digital image. Actually it was a freebie. I was going to just use Daffodil Delight only, but i decided that the pink highlighted the bunnies as well.

Anything Goes Challenge

So on the Bugaboo Challenge site this week is a 'anything goes' project. I am not sure whether this project I am making quite qualifies for this heading, but I am going to post it anyway. This is going to be my catalogue for my digital stamps. (Mainly so I can keep track of them.) I have coloured in the stamps, using my favorite colours as the first page, and the second page has the colours again, with the copic marker numbers listed below the colour swatches. When I make a card, I will place a sample of the card on the 'cardstock' section of the page also. Hopefully, in about 10 years, I will have an A4 folder, full of index cards and colouring examples so I can refer to them. Being a Bugaboo Challenge, I thought my first page should be a bugaboo stamp, and I just adore Bently. After a few test runs, I hope to have a free download on my blog if required.

Working Class Bot

Here is another card I have made using the sketch challenge from Inkspirations. It is the same as the Mono Clyde card sketch. I will enter this one in the Inkspiration Challenge, although I am not sure how many cards you are allowed to enter. The colours consist of Old Olive, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake and Real Red. The card is a 5 x 5 card size made from Whisper White. This little image came from tiddlyinks. I have been looking at this little fellow for quite some time now, and finally decided that I would add him to my collection of digital stamps.

Mono Clyde

Here is the card I have made for the Bugaboo Challenge this week. It is making a card using only one colour. (Monochromatic). I usually don't make green cards, but it seemed to really suit this digital stamp. I love these challenges. The sketch for this card came from the Inkspirations Sketch Challenge for this week. I am doing two challenges in one here.

More Bently

I liked the other Bently card so much, I just had to make another one with the scraps I had left over. All paper is from Stampin up and the image of Bently is from the talented bugaboo stamps.

Bugaboo Bently

This little fellow here is called Bently. I have used the same colour scheme as the post below, and I am going to enter him into the Bugaboo Challenge this week. The theme is Baby or Child. There is a link to Bugaboo on the left hand side of my blog posted under blogs if you are new to my site and want to play along. I really like the way this card turned out and is going to be one of my favorites for sure.

Colour Coach - More Mustard

Well I guess there is not a real lot I can say about this post, other that, love the colours. The digital stamp is from bugaboo, everything else is from Stampin Up. Enjoy. Well, here I am saying that there is not much to write about this little card. I forgot to mention that I have used the sketch from Inkspirations as it was a sketch challenge. Sorry about that. Must have been a seniors moment.

Colour Coach – Night of Navy

P1020322

Here is the second card using the colour schemes from the Night of Navy swatch from the colour coach. Another digital image from Dustin Pike, more copic markers and Stampin Up cardstock and designer papers.
