Haunted Halloween

I know what you're thinking. Another Halloween card? Well, I'm sort of on a roll at the moment and these images are just too cute to leave un carded. (Not sure that is a word). I am learning so much about colouring since taking the course by Kit and Clowder. I would have never thought to colour the Zombie skin in green like this image, but it's pretty cute... for a Zombie, that is.

Seriously, how darn cute is this image from Tiddlyinks.

Here is the sketch that I have used for this card, although I did replace some circles with squares and maybe kind of rotated the sketch around a bit, but that's the beauty of sketches. If you want to play along with the challenge, here is the link. Freshly Made Sketches

Spookaboo

I am really enjoying my colouring at the moment. I used this image from Tiddlyinks to create this card for their challenge at tiddlyinks challenge. This theme was Spookaboo! and although this little fellow isn't really all that scary, he was fun to colour.

I used some old paper from Stampin Up and I used my distress inks to create the night time theme. I love this little fellow. Well, actually, I love all the images at Tiddlyinks.

Painted Harvest

Today, I would like to share a card I made this morning. It is made from the newest stamp set in my collection called Painted Harvest, and may I say, it is quickly becoming one of my many favourites. I made this card for a class card and used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches. I must confess, I am a sketch-aholic. They are so handy, and open to interpretation. So here is my card.

I love the way this card turned out. The patterned paper in the background.. well, it is not designer paper, I have hand stamped the background using the same stamp set. Here is the sketch I used.

Melbourne Zoo Trip

I'm pretty sure by now, ya'll know how much I love digital scrapbooking. I would never be able to complete a page like this if it wasn't for my beloved Apple.

Family moments

Well, I have been getting into a bit of digital scrapbooking lately. I am loving the ease of putting elements together and having my memories brought to life. This is the latest page I have finished of my children having a bit of fun together. Believe me this is pretty rare.

Love, love, love this page.

For the love of colouring

I received an email the other day with some awesome news from Tiddly Inks. They have released some amazing colouring pages. You all know how I love to colour. So the Challenge was to use flowers, or have flowers on your project. So, after racing to the online store, and purchasing these colouring books, I decided that this image was going to be just fine for what I needed. ALTHOUGH I now have heaps of different images to choose from.

It is a bit tricky to see, but I have turned this colouring page into an easel card. I have kept embellishing down to a minimum as to not over power the main focus of the colouring. To colour this stamp I used a combination of Copic Markers and pencils, (which is something I  have been doing quite a lot lately), I love the way they gel together to get the required texture.

Little Miss Mitzi

If you hurry, you can still catch the challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches, and I do mean hurry. I made this card using the sketch below. I was sure that I had missed the deadline, but it is still open. Yeah! Here is another digital image from little miss muffet stamps and her name is Mitzi. I am so in love with these images. They are great to colour.

Little Miss Roxie

I was going through my emails this morning and I found an amazing challenge by the paper players.
It is a tic tac toe challenge, which I love, so I had to make this card....well, I didn't have to, but I wanted to. I decided to go with the Pink, Die cut and twine section. So, the image is from little miss muffet stamps and her name is Roxie. I coloured Roxie with my copics and used scrap bits of paper I had laying around my craft room. Love the way this one turned out. Awesome images and great fun to colour.

Stampin royalty changes.

So, if your a regular player of Stampin Royalty Challenges, you will notice that they have changed to Fortnightly instead of weekly. This is due to the fact that we are busy people, well, we like to pretend we are busy. Lol

The challenge, which again, I am late in posting, is all about Dies. Create a card or scrapbook page, or anything really, using your dies. Here is my card I made.

Week 1 - January

Here we go! I have nearly reached and surpassed my total blogging amount from 2016. Well, I must confess, it was a good break, but not intentional. Here is my layouts (notice the S) for the start of this extremely busy month. I plan to have a lot of things accomplished this year, but you will have to wait until I finish more pages to see what they are.

Cover Page for 2017

Well. I have been missing for so long, I really don't know where to begin.
I guess, I will begin with a cover page for 2017 Project Life. Yes, I have decided to go digital this year. I just do not have the time or dedication to go physical. So here it is. My very first page layout for 2017.
