Stampin Royalty Baby Theme

This week we have a Baby Themed challenge at Stampin Royalty. I decided for this challenge, I would grab some of my vast stash of retired designer papers and try to use them up. So if you are making a baby card at the moment, click the link below and check out some inspiration from the girls.

Here is yet another card using, Stampin Ups Bundle of Joy stamp set. I am entering this one in the Do You Stack Up Layers Challenge # 59. It, as says is all about layering. So, I have layered each and every block to create a quilted effect, and also layered the stamped image and Welcome title.

Stampin Royalty Sketch Challenge 111

Here is the card I came up with using the retired Bundle of Joy stamp set from Stampin Up. All I can say, is why why why? I love this stamp set.

And as a pretty awesome coincidence, I had made three separate baby cards for the Bundle of Joy stamp set and I was up to completing one in Certainly Celery. (Will post these a little later). How cool, I didn't even have to choose the colours. So the ingredients are as follows:

Whisper White Card
Certainly Celery Card & Designer Paper
Little Additions Stamp Set
Baby Bundle Stamp Set
Bundle of Joy Stamp Set
Copic Markers
Leaf punch (Not sure where)
Circle Punches for flowers
Hearts Border Punch

The cards we really made Monday

So, Sunday afternoon I decided that I was still going to use the stamp set All in the Family by Stampin Up, but I thought I would go easy on the girls and refresh their memories on using the Stamp a ma jig. So instead of the previous card I posted for the class preview, I decided on this one instead. I also used Bashful Blue, Marina Mist (my favourite), the word window, and the two square punches. The inspiration for these cards came from the very talented Andrea Karadimos from Sydney. You can check out her blog here:

Here is a closer look at the card. Stamp a ma jig heaven. The colours I used here are:

Watercolor paper
Pink Pirouette card stock
Pretty in Pink card stock

More Weekend Cards

Here are the cards that complete the 3 card series with the Bundle of Joy stamp set from Stampin Up. They, like the previous post can be found in the Stamping Magazine that was released this month. I have changed them to suit the Stampin Up items I have.

Pumpkin Pie
So Saffron
Chocolate Chip
Whisper White
Border Edge punch
Pumpkin Pie Ribbon
Label Punch

Here is the closer view of the Stamps I have used. I have used my copics to colour in the bear and giraffe, instead of using the usual watercolour technique. I really like the way thy have turned out.

Lazy Saturday

P1020561
Here is the card that I made this afternoon. I saw this card in the latest edition of Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft magazine, and although I didn't have any of the listed items, I decided I would try and turn the card into a Stampin Up card. I am really pleased with the way it turned out. I am now going to try and convert the other card in the magazine to Stampin Up. So all credit for these designs come from Rachael Merrick.

P1020562
Pumpkin Pie
Chocolate Chip
So Saffron
Whisper White
Coloured Buttons to co ordinate with card stock
White Gel Pen for Faux Stitching
Spellbinders Die
Copic Markers

And for the life of me, I can not remember what this stamp set is called. When my memory comes back, I will fix this post. So, Please, if anyone knows, comment and let me know what it is so I can list it. Thanks. Okay, I remember now after searching on Google. (Gotta luv Google). Bundle of Joy is the stamp set I used here. Retired, but still in my collection of stamps.

Bugaboo Bently

This little fellow here is called Bently. I have used the same colour scheme as the post below, and I am going to enter him into the Bugaboo Challenge this week. The theme is Baby or Child. There is a link to Bugaboo on the left hand side of my blog posted under blogs if you are new to my site and want to play along. I really like the way this card turned out and is going to be one of my favorites for sure.

Stamp: Baby Bundle - Stampin Up
Misc: Border Punch and Clear Buttons

My Mojo 155

Here is my Mojo Sketch 155 card. I have again made a card using the new stamp set called Baby Bundle. I really like this stamp set. I have also used some of the Hostess Paper Pack designer papers and some of the papers out of the Simply Scrappin kit for girls. It almost looks like the sketch on the left.....

Twins by two

For some reason I have been making a lot of baby cards lately. I think that has something to do with the new releases (available 1st September 2010) of Stampin Up's baby stamps. One of my ladies from class was after a 'twins' card. I made these so she can CASE them. All products I used here are from Stampin Up, and the sentiment on the front of the card, I printed on the computer, changing the last line of text to coordinate with the base colour of the card.   Happy Stamping.

Roller Wheel Fun

I made these on Saturday afternoon as an example of Stampin Up's new Baby Tees Roller Wheel.

Even though all the cards are the same, each one has their own personality.

I enjoy using the roller wheels in this manner just as much as using them for backgrounds etc.

Baby Pram and Feeder

I found these little cards on Splitcoast Stampers the other day and just had to try them out.
All cards are used with the Sizzix Big Shot Scalloped Circle dies.
I am definitely making some more of these, in Bashful Blue, Barely Banana and Certainly Celery.
So easy, yet so effective.

Retired, but not forgotten

How can you go past this stamp set when making new baby (or toddler) cards. I am in love with this stamp set at the moment. There are so many things you can make. Here is a few of the cards I have made using the Colour my world watch and sketch. It makes card making so much quicker now that I have the colours and sketches sorted once and for all. I used the Washington Apple designer paper, which I use alot and the co ordinating card stock. Gotta love that everything goes together. I just have to make the box that these cards will fit into and I will post this when it is finished. Thanks for looking.
