Soccer Star

I made this layout using the colour in the www.stampinroyalty.blogspot.com colour challenge for this week. The colours are: Real Red, Gumball Green and Whisper White. Although usually I would have made a christmas card or project with these colours, I am a little over all the Christmas bits at the moment. So, I thought that this was a great way to use these colours as the red matched Daniels shirt and the green matched (what was left of the green) grass.

Christmas Photo Inspiration

This is the card I made for the Photo Inspiration shown below at www.stampinroyalty.blogspot.com. I basically took the colours and the baubles from the photo and created a circle punch christmas tree.
I used the clear buttons from my stash of old SU buttons and a bit of twine. (Actually, it is cooking string to be exact). Nothing like bringing the kitchen into the craft room. lol. Click on the link above and have a look at that the other girls have come up with. They are so talented.

Snowflakes?

The challenge this week at stampin royalty is all about Snowflakes. I questioned my title for this post, because I could not find a snowflake anywhere in my stash. I couldn't believe it. So I have used a little snowflake that I cut out of the designer paper, and embossed the background with snowflakes. As I had not cleaned up from the last card I posted, (last week), I decided I would use the same 'everything' and create another card. Makes for easy colour selection too.

Winter

This week at stampin royalty we have a Winter theme for you to try. I have used one of my favourite stamps called Snow Much Fun and coloured with my Copics to match the Stampin Up papers. The papers come from the mini stack called Winter Frost, which just fits nicely on the card. I even dragged out my little sewing machine and machine stitched around the outside of the Smokey Slate. So, remember, if you want to purchase any of these products to make you own Winter themed card, just click on the shopping button and have the product delivered straight to your door.

A Day at the Races

This year my son Daniel wanted to go to the Kyneton Cup and see what all the fuss was about. So, off we went for a little look. I created this page of our Day at the Races using the picture inspiration below. Well, I used most of the colours from the picture, with a little help from Stampin Ups MDS program. Have I told you how awesome this program is yet, I'm sure I have. Although, we had no idea what we were looking at as the horses ran around the track, we still enjoyed ourselves.

SR Challenge - No Embellishment Holiday Card.

Wow. A holiday card with NO Embellishments. Now that challenge was harder than I thought it was going to be. I designed this card on Stampin Up MDS program to try and stop myself from adding little bits here and there, like a bit of ribbon, or twine, maybe a few little brads….. I can't wait until I can check out what the other girls have some up with. Go and check them out at

SR Colour Challenge 201

At Stampin Royalty this week we have a colour challenge for you to play with. The challenge is:
Make a project using the colours mentioned.

Chocolate Chip, Sahara Sand, Raspberry Ripple and Summer Starfruit

I couldn't decide of a card that I wanted to make, although I found this awesome (NO CUT) little bag on Pinterest. (I know, I am addicted to Pinterest) You can follow me if you like. Heaps of not only Stampin Up, but everything else too. If you click on the link below, that should take you to Silvey's craft room and the tutorial.

Copic Marker Journal - Card making Binder

For those of you who have downloaded my Copic Marker Journal, I thought I would show you all what mine looks like at the moment. Here is the front of my binder. I have decided to turn it into a Card Making Binder instead of just a Copic Journal. I will be uploading some more pages so you can see how it will all look when it is finished. Hopefully when  this is finished, I will have dividers with labels for easy section finding.

Dino birthday

There is a sketch challenge over at http://www.fridaymashup.com this week. It is an awesome sketch by Holly. I loved creating this card, and definitely going to use this one over and over again. So the image is a tiddlyinks (new) one and the colours I used are Pumpkin Pie, Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White. (All Stampin Up). I also used the chevron punch and the Halloween washi tape.

The paper players challenge this week is 'Wildlife'. I am thinking that this may qualify as wild?
I will enter it anyway. I do love their Design Team cards, so inspirational.

Copic Marker Blue Greens

Here are the Blue Green collection of my Markers. As you can probably tell, I have run out of R81. Darn. I have only one image on this page so far. I have many digital stamps, but can not work out which other one I want to use. Oh and when Copic release a new colour, I throw these ones on the bottom of the page.

Copic Marker Journal - Blues

I can't believe that I have not continued with my Copic Journal. Although I have made a few other sizes, it was high time that I finished the large one. I am currently working on a card making book - folder that will contain everything I need for card making. I will be posting these pages as I finish them so you can (if you want) have a very similar organised system. Hopefully. So here is the page that I finished this morning using my Blue Markers. As you can see, I need to get some more, but not just yet. I have found that the ones that I have are enough for my colouring ability at this stage.

Don't forget, if you want a copy of this journal for your own reference, the PDF download is available on the left hand side of my blog under the heading of Copic Marker Journal.

SUO - Harvest time

At the Stampin Up Only challenge site this week the theme was Harvest. So I thought I would use my new stamp set called Gently Falling and create a Harvest - Fall - Autumn card and box.
I found the template for this box on Pinterest. Have I told you how in love I am with Pinterest. It is amazing. So here is the link for the card box.

and here is the link to SU Only

The card stock for my project consisted of More Mustard (retired), Soft Suede and the Designer paper is an old one called Spice cake (retired).

Magazine holder with cards

This week at Stampin Royalty we have an awesome challenge. ANYTHING goes. Although, I must confess, these challenges are really not that easy. Especially just sticking to one project. So I went with this awesome magazine - card holder and filled it up with some pretty quick cards. I am so loving the new in colours from Stampin Up this year. If you would like to have a go at making this holder, here is the link below. Oh, I actually use the cardboard that comes with the designer paper packets for all of the boxes and 3d items. Much stronger than card stock, although limited by colour.

Make another wish

I thought I would participate in a new sketch blog I found earlier this week. Its called Sketch Saturday. So here is the card I  made using the sketch below. The image is one of Tiddlyinks, which I am addicted to, as you have probably worked out, and the paper is from a little paper pad that I purchased soooo long ago (before SU days) which is I think a paper craft pack. I used my copics to colour the image and used the scallop border punch for the border. I think that is about it.

Make a wish

I can't believe that it has been so long since I have completed a challenge for the Friday Mash Up. I decided that this weekend, (after housework was finished) I would spend my time in my craft room and create something. I searched my blog for the challenges and found this one. I love the colours, and who can go past cake. Certainly not me. I used a digital stamp from Sassy Cheryl, (links are on the left hand side of my blog) and coloured her using my copics, to match the Stampin Up papers. I think she is very cute. I have included the link below so you can see what the team from Friday Mash up have created.

http://www.fridaymashup.com

Here's your Mashup Challenge:
  1. Create a project with the colors "Coastal Cabana, Crushed Curry, Smoky Slate & Basic Grey."
  2. Create a project with a "Cake."
  3. Or Mash it Up and create a project "with a Cake using the colors above."

Halloween Goodie Packaging

This week at Stampin Royalty we have a Halloween Goodie Packaging challenge for you all. Well, I hope that this little jar of halloween - ish type goodies fits the bill. Here are a few more images, although I must say that this looks better in real life (and tastes better) than on the photograph.

Colour Challenge #197

Here is the card I made for the Colour Challenge at Stampin Royalty this week. I seem to be having a pretty Halloween-ish time lately, although I may have to send some of these cards to people that celebrate Halloween. The colours are listed below for the challenge and I have used the Halloween Bingo Bits from Stampin Ups' My Design Studio. (I also cheated and used the two square punches, also from Stampin Up.

MY LIBRARY FOR MY DIGITAL STUDIO

Have a look at this.

Stampin Up have released an app for iPad. (Still working on IPhone) and is available for free on the APP Store. This has all of the digital stamps available in your selected country so you can catalogue the digital (or having to have) stamps on your iPad. And as a major bonus. IT IS FREE. Here is a screen shot of my iPad after I have been through the Father section. Cool

I can see this being a very valuable app indeed. So what are you waiting for. Head on over and grab the app for free. Seriously, go now. :)

Fall Photo Inspiration

It's picture inspiration time at Stampin Royalty. I mainly used the colours and the Fall, theme from this picture. I used Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive and Chocolate Chip for my card stock. I also used a digital stamp and sentiment for the middle. Pop on over and have a look at what the other girls came up with, they are SUPER talented.

Stampin Royalty Challenge 195

So, the challenge for this week, involves a few trendy triangles. This card looked great in my head, and while I was punching away, and inking each and every triangle, I was beginning to have some doubt. But now that it is all together and finished, I love it. I especially love the fish (fishy friends - Retired). This is one of my all time favorite stamp sets from Stampin Up. I used my copics to colour them in, and again you will notice the happy birthday sentiment. If anyone remembers which stamp set this belongs to, I would appreciate a comment so I can update my blog. The colours I have used here are Wild Wasabi, Bashful Blue (I still have heaps of this colour) and Night of Navy. I used the same ink to dauber the edges. I love this tedious little fishy card. It may be a good class card for in the future.

Stampin Royalty Photo Challenge

This photo inspiration picture would have to be one of my favorites. I am loving the black and grey with a little splash of yellow. Awesome choice for a challenge and I can't wait to see what everyone else comes us with. For my card, I have used a digital stamp from Stampin Up MDS. I made my flowers using the scallop punch and the leaves are from a punch I had laying around my room.
If you would like any further details regarding my card, please feel free to email me, and I will try to answer your questions.

Stampin Royalty Challenge #193

Here is my card for this weeks colour challenge at Stampin Royalty. The colours I have used are in the picture above. I have used the stamp set Pedal Presents which is a Stampin Up stamp set and the sentiment is an old retired stamp that I use all the time. This stamp is so old that I can not even remember what set it is from, although I do know that it is a Stampin Up stamp.

Thanks so much

For the challenge at Stampin Royalty this week we were asked to make a card using patterned paper. Here is the card that I came up with, using the patterned paper for the background of my card. I have used the stamp set called backyard basics from Stampin Up and all of the butterflies have been coloured using my Copic Sketch Markers. I used glue to stick the middle of the butterflies to the cards, then carefully bent the wings up to create a 3D looking effect.

School time

This is the card I made for the Freshly Made Sketches number 101. I really seem to struggle with the clean style of card making. I always tend to think, it needs something else. But, with this card, I stuck true to the sketch, and I actually think it turned out okay. The image is another one from Tiddlyinks. As I didn't know which image to use for the back to school challenge, I decided that I would make 2 cards. This one, and the genius one.

Stampin Royalty - Shape of things - Circles

I am totally loving this card. I know, I'm bragging a little, but hey. Someone has to tell me how good this card is. I made this card for the challenge at Stampin Royalty this week. Our challenge was to make a project using circles. What to do, what to do. I found this little stamp set on MDS (My Design Studio) Stampin Up's digital card, scrapbooking software, and suddenly an idea popped into my head. I Printed the stamp set out (Jolly Bingo Bits), fussy cut them out, punched out a few circles and; cool. Will be making more of these for Christmas this year. Have a look at what the rest of the design team have made using circles. They really are an extremely talented bunch of ladies. I love being a part of their team.

Freshly Made Genius

This is the card I made for the 100th sketch from Freshly Made Sketches. I used the Digital stamp from Tiddlyinks (Genius), he is such a dorky looking fellow, but extremely lovable. The theme for this week over at tiddlyinks is school based, so I will be submitting this card over there as well.
