Its all FRILLY

Here is my card for the challenge this week over at STAMPIN ROYALTY and its all about making a project with frills. Do you know how had this is, especially when you have three males in the family, that do not do anything frilly. So I used my Blendabilities with this stamp from Stampin Up, called Blended Bloom. I matched the colouring with Wisteria Wonder card stock and designer paper and also a hint of Concord Crush, previously retired. Head on over to Stampin royalty and make something frilly for the challenge.

Happy 4th Birthday Stampin Royalty

This week at Stampin Royalty we have a little birthday challenge for you to play along with. I pulled out my old faithful, a Rose is a Rose stamp set from Stampin Up and used the stamp off technique to create this card. I have also used the sentiment from Fifth Avenue Floral. Go over to see what the other girls have come up with, or better still, create your own birthday card and submit it on Stampin Royalty's site. Either way, have fun.

Clean and Simple

The theme for this week is Clean and Simple at Stampin Royalty. Well, I got the clean part okay I think, and the card was pretty simple to put together, so I guess you could say that it is indeed a clean and simple card. (Although it look harder than it actually was.) I used the Awash with Flowers stamp set from Stampin up, coloured with my favourite Copic Markers and glued it all together. Pop on over to Stampin Royalty and see what the girls have come up with.

Stampin Royalty Challenge 164

This weeks challenge at stampin royalty is a picture inspiration challenge. So check out the picture above and then use something in that picture to create your masterpiece. I basically used the colours in the picture for my inspiration. (Although, I could have used a darker pink), but it is still pretty cool.

SR Polka Dots

The theme for this card is Polka Dots. http://www.stampinroyalty.blogspot.com.au

The reason for this card, is a special friends birthday was celebrated earlier this month and this was the card I made for her. I found this card on Pinterest, (loving Pinterest) and decided to make a few subtle changes. I have used the stamp set Simply Soft, card stock Chocolate Chip, Marina Mist, Wild Wasabi, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla.

CCMC Colour Challenge 216

This is my final card as a Guest Designer for August for Create with Connie and Mary. I must say, I have had the absolute best time with these girls, they are so talented. My secret create word is 2012. Thank you so much and don't stop with the challenges.
I have used the stamp set Bright Blossoms from Stampin Up and the colours shown above.

Colour Challenge 202 Upsy Daisy

Here is the card I have made and will submit to the www.createwithconnieandmary.com Colour Challenge Number 202. I wasn't quite sure about the colours when I pulled them out of my stash, but I think they came together really well in the end. And as for the Upsy Daisy (retired) stamp set from Stampin Up, LOVE it. I have made quite a few cards using this stamp. (So much that it actually fell of the wooden blocks. I use it as a clear mount stamp set now.) Still works a treat.

Flower Fancy - Thank you

This is the first card I have ever made using vellum. Don't ask me why? It just never crossed my mind. I thought I would make a few more cards using this flower fancy set before I must return it to its owner. I'm now thinking I probably should add this set to my wish list. Boy is that getting long.

Inkspirations Challenge 1

I made this card for the Inkspirations Colour Challenge for this week. I actually really like these colours together, although, probably not ones that I would have used if not for a challenge. But having said that, I have already made two cards for this challenge, and LOVE the colours. I used my favorite stamp set from Stampin Up, Just Believe and also my new butterfly sizzix embossing die. Really cute. If you pop on over to Inkspirations you will find the challenge there. The link is on my side bar.

Color Coach - Blushing Bride 2

Here is my second card using the color coach Blushing Bride card. I used the A Rose is a Rose stamp set (which I know is retired) but one of my favorite stamp sets. I also used the color coach to get the monochromatic colors that matched the Blushing Bride and also the match for Pear Pizzazz for the leaves.

Bodacious Weekend Part 2

Here is Part 2 of my Bodacious Weekend.

Again, this card is cased straight from Splitcoast Stampers. The only thing I changed was the colour. I will edit this post, when I find out who I cased this from. Wow, I found this one too. The lady who I cased this card from is, Glittergal. Check out her galley on Splitcoast Stampers

The inks I used are:
Old Olive
Rose Red
Regal Rose

The cardstock was matched to the same colour ink and the greeting is from the SAB catalogue.

Bodacious Weekend

Don't you just hate it when you have too many stamps. I found this set in my stash, and if you can believe this, it was UNOPENED.

So my first step, naturally, was to open the set.

I searched through Splitcoast Stampers and found these amazing cards, so I thought I would case them. When I find out who the original lady was that created these cards, I will edit this post. Okay, I found it. Kirstysb is the talented lady, check out her gallery.

What a totally awesome use of the stamps in the Bodacious Bouquet set.
