Stampin Royalty Challenge 195

So, the challenge for this week, involves a few trendy triangles. This card looked great in my head, and while I was punching away, and inking each and every triangle, I was beginning to have some doubt. But now that it is all together and finished, I love it. I especially love the fish (fishy friends - Retired). This is one of my all time favorite stamp sets from Stampin Up. I used my copics to colour them in, and again you will notice the happy birthday sentiment. If anyone remembers which stamp set this belongs to, I would appreciate a comment so I can update my blog. The colours I have used here are Wild Wasabi, Bashful Blue (I still have heaps of this colour) and Night of Navy. I used the same ink to dauber the edges. I love this tedious little fishy card. It may be a good class card for in the future.

Stampin Royalty Photo Challenge

This photo inspiration picture would have to be one of my favorites. I am loving the black and grey with a little splash of yellow. Awesome choice for a challenge and I can't wait to see what everyone else comes us with. For my card, I have used a digital stamp from Stampin Up MDS. I made my flowers using the scallop punch and the leaves are from a punch I had laying around my room.
If you would like any further details regarding my card, please feel free to email me, and I will try to answer your questions.

Stampin Royalty Challenge #193

Here is my card for this weeks colour challenge at Stampin Royalty. The colours I have used are in the picture above. I have used the stamp set Pedal Presents which is a Stampin Up stamp set and the sentiment is an old retired stamp that I use all the time. This stamp is so old that I can not even remember what set it is from, although I do know that it is a Stampin Up stamp.

Thanks so much

For the challenge at Stampin Royalty this week we were asked to make a card using patterned paper. Here is the card that I came up with, using the patterned paper for the background of my card. I have used the stamp set called backyard basics from Stampin Up and all of the butterflies have been coloured using my Copic Sketch Markers. I used glue to stick the middle of the butterflies to the cards, then carefully bent the wings up to create a 3D looking effect.

School time

This is the card I made for the Freshly Made Sketches number 101. I really seem to struggle with the clean style of card making. I always tend to think, it needs something else. But, with this card, I stuck true to the sketch, and I actually think it turned out okay. The image is another one from Tiddlyinks. As I didn't know which image to use for the back to school challenge, I decided that I would make 2 cards. This one, and the genius one.
