Happy Dirtday

I made this card using the colours from Create with Connie and Mary ccmc199-color-challenge.html
These colours seemed to scream earthmoving equipment, and who was I to stand in the way. So really there is not much to blog about this card as it is nearly all stamp set.

Guest Designer April Week 4

So this week at Stampin Royalty we have a Monochromatic Challenge. This means that you can only use one colour for your card, but you can use different shades of this colour. So my colour, as you can see, is pink. I used rose red, pretty in pink and pink pirouette.

Happy Crafting

Guest Designer - Week 3 April

Wow, I can't believe that I almost forgot to post this card for the third week of April.

This week challenge is a sketch challenge. And this card is my favourite for the month of April.
I used chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake, Whisper White and Bashful Blue
Large Circle Punch, smaller circles for the border and even smaller circles for the three (buttons).
Thanks for looking, and I look forward to checking out your cards, after you link them.

Totally CASEd - Lynn Put

I first saw this little set while surfing the net and stumbled (now added to favourites) upon Lynn Put's blog

Although Lynn's owls and card were different colours, the concept came directly from her blog. Extremely talented lady. (Not sure why you wouldn't case these). You really should go and check out her blog, say hi and leave her some love. Lynn has some amazing cards on there.
So instead of using the same colours, I decided that I would use the colours from
Create with Connie and Mary Colour Challenge. And I must say, what a fantastic colour selection. I will be making more cards using these colours for sure.

Fishy Birthday

Wow, I can't believe how long it has been since I used this stamp set. I made this card using the Freshly Made Sketch Challenge #30 and I have used the colours from The Paper Players Challenge #90
I really like these colours together and the fish from Stampin Ups' Fishy Friends seemed to be calling out to be used on this card. If you click on the above links, you will go directly to the site. Play along if you like. They both have the most amazing Designers with heaps of inspiration.

Guest Designer for April - Stampin Royalty

Oh my gosh. How excited do you think I was when I received an email from Stampin Royalty asking if I would like to be a guest designer for April. Like I would say NO to something that awesome. I just hope that my cards for the next month are going to be good enough for 'designer' material. My first card was a picture inspiration. Below is the picture I received and above is the card I made from it. I hope you all like it and play along with the challenge.

If you want to play in this challenge, go directly to www.stampinroyalty.blogspot.com.au and have a look at the awesome Design Team projects. Believe me when I say, you will be blown away; they are such amazingly talented girls.

This award started in Germany and it means favorite or beloved, and it's for anything, not just scrapbooking/crafting.  The purpose of this award is to bring attention to blogs with fewer than 200 followers, and they then pay it forward by passing the award on to 5 other small blogs!!!!

Here are the Rules of the Liebster Award:
1.  Show your thanks to the blogger who gave you the award by linking back to them.
2.  Reveal your five picks for the award and let them know.

4.  Bask in the love from the supportive people out there in Blog Land!
5.  Finally and the best rule of all ........... have fun and spread the love!

Here are the five blogs that I have chosen. Click on over to their sites, look around and don't forget to become a Follower.  There are so many great blogs out there!
