Project life 2016 - Revamp

So finally after a few months, I have decided to go plain and simple with my Project Life 2016. I found the process was not overly enjoyable, and the pages were taking far too long to complete. Here is my week 1 and Week 2. Hopefully things will go a little bit smoother now.

Week 1 for January 2016

Week 2 for January 2016

Butterflies

Over at Stampin Royalty this week, we have a Butterfly challenge for you to play along with. It's very simple. Using whichever products you like, create a project using a butterfly, then enter you card on the Stamping Royalty site. Very simple. Go ahead and try.

January Week 1

Here is week 1 for January finished. Yeah Me! I'm a bit behind already, but that okay, I will catch up, I hope. Here are the kits I have used for this layout.

January Month in Review 2016

Here is my first ever Month in Review page. I have used the template from Two Tiny Turtles and the Digital kit from Digital Scrapbook Ingredients all from Sweet Shoppe Designs. (Including a few little bits from various kits I already had). I love the ease of Digital Project Life. I think I changed my mind at least 10 times on this one.

Find your Happy Place

This week over at stamping royalty we have a picture inspiration for you to play with. I love the mint and gold together. I created another Project Life page using the colours in the inspiring picture below. Go check out the site and see what the others have come up with using the same picture.

Masculine Album

Well, I must confess, it has been a while since I have blogged. Mainly due to password and log in issues, but they seem to have sorted themselves out now. No excuses...

Here is the project I made for Stamping Royalty this week. The subject was entitled Masculine Cards.

Have I told you that I am super hooked on Kathy Orta albums at the moment. I'm sure I have. So, I have made this little album (one of many) and used it to highlight my son's photos for 2015.

I have used (mostly) Stamping Up papers for the cover and inserts.
The inserts pull out from each page giving a load of room for pictures.

Here is the middle of the card insert, with room for 6x4 photo, journaling and a pull out tag inserted into the pocket.

Here is the outside of the insert with another photo and a Project life Journaling card.
The album cover is not quite finished yet, but when it is, I will upload all the photos.
