CCMC Colour Challenge 216

This is my final card as a Guest Designer for August for Create with Connie and Mary. I must say, I have had the absolute best time with these girls, they are so talented. My secret create word is 2012. Thank you so much and don't stop with the challenges.
I have used the stamp set Bright Blossoms from Stampin Up and the colours shown above.

Saturated Duos

Well, I guess this post is pretty self explanatory really. I have made a card using the above colour challenge from Dynamic Duos as my colour guide. The digital stamp is from Saturated Canary, just the name says enough. Awesome. I have a few of these digital stamps that I will be bringing to life over the next few weeks. Pop on over to http://thedynamicduoschallenge.blogspot.co.nz and have a look at all the amazing cards using the same colour scheme.

CCMC Sketch Challenge

Here is another awesome sketch challenge from Create with Connie and Mary. I'm not sure where they get their ideas from, but don't stop now. I have used Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive and Whisper White card with matching designer papers. The stamp set is from Stampin Up and is called Best of Everything. Pop on over to create with Connie and Mary to see all of the other Designer cards.

A Wish for Peace

So for this colour challenge, I decided that I would make a non traditional (male style) christmas card. I used the colours as shown below being River Rock, Basic Black with a hint of Very Vanilla. For the shading of the image (it looked a little bit plain on the card) I shaded it with my black stampin up pencil, just to give it a little bit of character.

Welcome Christmas

Here is a card I have made for the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge this week. Their designs are amazing for creating clean and simple cards. Love them. So I have used the retiring Welcome Christmas stamp set from Stampin Up, and the new designer papers, gumball green, Cherry cobbler, Very Vanilla card stock and a few little pearls to finish off the card. Another Christmas card to cross off the list. Woohoo. Click on the link below to go straight to the challenge site for some amazing cards using the same sketch.

Sneak Peak Designer Paper

I made this card using the Stampin Up build a stocking punch and the NEW designer papers that WILL be available on 1st September. Not long to wait now. I have used the Gumball Green paper and ink to co ordinate with the Designer Paper as well as Very Vanilla and Cherry Cobbler. I am also submitting this card for the SU Only challenge (Designer Papers) and Pals Paper Arts sketch for this week.

CCMC214 Colour Challenge

Well, this card was made using the colours on the colour challenge above. (Almost). There were a few colours that we in Australia don't have, so I improvised a little bit. This card is my third in the Guest Designer for Creating with Connie and Mary for August. Stay with me, there are only two more to come. Pop on over to create with Connie and Mary and have a play. They really do have some amazing cards on display.

Welcome Little One

Here is the card I made this morning, still practising with my copics, getting a little bit better every time. I used the colours from the Dynamic Colour Challenge and the sketch came from Freshly made sketches. I have posted the two links below. Such fun we have. The digital stamp came from Mayzy Arts. She has some amazing art work. Although I do not have a direct link, you can google the name and the links should come up. I will re post the information for you when I find it though.

CMCC213 Sketch Challenge

For my second card for August Guest Designer with create with Connie and Mary, I chose to use  the stamp set Lovely as a Tree. The sketch above is what the card is based on, and proved to be a little bit more challenging than I first thought. I have gone with the regal colours, almost an (Autumn feel). It is so cold here in Australia, I probably should have used Summer colours instead.

Heartfelt Birthday Wishes

This stamp set is quickly becoming one of my favourites at the moment. I made this card using the above colours from the Dynamic Duos colour challenge which includes Pumpkin Pie and Wild Wasabi. Awesome colours together, but without this challenge, I probably would not have put them together. The stamp set is Pedal Presents, the sentiment came from Fabulous Phrases and the colouring was done using copic markers. So that is about all I can say about this card, other than I will be using it as a class card in the near future.

Winter Fairy Christmas

This card, I made for two reasons. The first reason being, I love this stamp. It is a wee stamp called Winter Fairy. The second reason, is I am entering it into the Pals Paper Arts colour challenge this week.
Oh, I cant wait until our new catalogue comes out so I can use some of these gorgeous In Colour papers. Not long to wait now.

I am entering this card into two challenges this week. The first being Stampin Royalty and the second being Freshly made sketches. I used the stamp set from stampin up called Pedal Presents, the colours shown below (almost) and the sketch below.

August Guest Designer CCMC212

Well, I am excited and a little nervous at the same time. I am the Guest Designer for Create with Connie and Mary for the whole of August. That is 5 weeks of cards from me. What an honour. So here is my first card that I have made for the colour challenge using the above colours. If you go to the right hand side of my blog and click on the Create with Connie and Mary link, you will go straight to the challenge site. Have a look at the rest of the design team cards. They are all awesome.

Best Dad Ever

I made this card for the Paper Players this week using the tic tac toe challenge below. I decided that I would go with the middle line, being blue, dry embossing and masculine. Australia has fathers day in September, so I am ahead of the game with this one. I based my card on the Mojo Sketch this week as well, so I have finished two challenges in one.
