Becoming my fav

This handmade card features a soft, romantic floral design layered with delicate stamped images and warm coral tones. I wanted the flowers to feel fresh and uplifting, with gentle greens and pinks working together to create a light, cheerful palette.

The layered die cuts add dimension and movement, while the subtle background texture keeps the focus on the blooms. A simple sentiment band across the centre ties everything together and makes the card perfect for sharing a heartfelt message with someone special.

I created this card for the challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches here is the sketch.

Love with all your Heart

Sometimes the simplest cards say the most 💛

This little bear holding a big red heart is one of my favorite reminders that handmade doesn’t have to mean complicated. A clean white background gives the design room to breathe, while the playful XOXO pattern and diagonal strip add just enough movement to keep things interesting. The focal point, of course, is that sweet bear—soft, warm, and full of heart—paired with a sentiment that says it all: love with all your heart.

Cards like this are perfect for Valentine’s Day, anniversaries, or even just a “thinking of you” moment. They’re cozy, cheerful, and heartfelt without being over the top. Proof that sometimes a bear, a heart, and a few well-chosen details are all you need to make someone smile. 🐻❤️

To say that I am totally addicted to chatGPT is an understatement. I think it likes my cards more than I do.

I made this card for the challenge over at https://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com/. Here is the sketch.

School time

This is the card I made for the Freshly Made Sketches number 101. I really seem to struggle with the clean style of card making. I always tend to think, it needs something else. But, with this card, I stuck true to the sketch, and I actually think it turned out okay. The image is another one from Tiddlyinks. As I didn't know which image to use for the back to school challenge, I decided that I would make 2 cards. This one, and the genius one.

I Wuf You

Here is the card I made for the Freshly Made Sketches # 99 this week. I used a new digital stamp from Tiddlyinks called Dog Days. I used the MDS to create the background paper, using the paws stamp from the stamp set Patterned Pets. I just re sized, cut and paste to fit the card size I wanted. As you can see, there is a small gap between the paws pattern. I thought that I may be able to use some ribbon here. I have left it off this card because the sketch didn't' have any ribbons or bows. Amazing sketch.

Monster Birthday

I made this card for the sketch challenge over at Freshly made sketches this week. I have used a digital stamp from Tiddlyinks, which I might add, is awesome and I have used my Copic Markers for the colouring. Great sketch.

Steve the Pirate

Here is my take on the Freshly Made Sketches #58 for this week. If you are a Dodgeball fan, you will know all about Steve the Pirate. I wanted to see how this little fellow would look Copic'd. Well, I like him anyway. This is one of the original stamp set I purchased after joining Stampin Up. I just don't have the heart to let him go yet. It is actually quite difficult to create a Clean and Simple card, although these sketches are amazing and help a lot. If you would to play along with the challenge go to:

Welcome Christmas

Here is a card I have made for the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge this week. Their designs are amazing for creating clean and simple cards. Love them. So I have used the retiring Welcome Christmas stamp set from Stampin Up, and the new designer papers, gumball green, Cherry cobbler, Very Vanilla card stock and a few little pearls to finish off the card. Another Christmas card to cross off the list. Woohoo. Click on the link below to go straight to the challenge site for some amazing cards using the same sketch.

Welcome Little One

Here is the card I made this morning, still practising with my copics, getting a little bit better every time. I used the colours from the Dynamic Colour Challenge and the sketch came from Freshly made sketches. I have posted the two links below. Such fun we have. The digital stamp came from Mayzy Arts. She has some amazing art work. Although I do not have a direct link, you can google the name and the links should come up. I will re post the information for you when I find it though.

Bugs and Kisses 2

I stumbled across the Just Add Ink challenge site this morning (so I'm a little bit slow) and fell in love with this colour scheme. Since I had the Bugs and Kisses stamp set out already, I decided that I would make another card using the bugs. They really are very cute. So the colours are listed above, and I have already named the stamp set, so that is about it for this card. Well apart from the fact that I followed the Sketch challenge from Freshly Made Sketches. Both links are included below, so click away, and have a play. lol
