Embossing Feature

This week over at Stampin Royalty we have a whole month dedicated to some of the most talented women I know. Me included... lol. This is my week, and I have chosen Embossing as my challenge. For the challenge at Stampin Royalty this week we were asked to make a card using patterned paper. Here is the card that I came up with, using the patterned paper for the background of my card. I have used the stamp set called backyard basics from Stampin Up and all of the butterflies have been coloured using my Copic Sketch Markers. I used glue to stick the middle of the butterflies to the cards, then carefully bent the wings up to create a 3D looking effect.

CCMC Sketch Challenge

Here is another awesome sketch challenge from Create with Connie and Mary. I'm not sure where they get their ideas from, but don't stop now. I have used Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive and Whisper White card with matching designer papers. The stamp set is from Stampin Up and is called Best of Everything.
