It's easy to spend time thinking about the things we'd love to do. Perhaps there's a new art technique you'd like to learn, a creative project you've been putting off, or an idea you've been carrying around in your head for months.

Sometimes, we wait until we feel confident enough to begin. We wait until we have more time, more experience or the perfect supplies.

But what if we simply started?

We don't have to know exactly where we're going. We don't have to get everything right the first time. We just need to take that first little step.

For me, that might mean picking up my paintbrush, experimenting with a new colour combination or starting a fresh page in my art journal.
