Rest in Peace Elly Girl

so, i headed to the vet, bright and early this morning to try and get Elly some medication for the sore on her nose. She was acting very strange last night, almost to the point of being lost in her own house. i woke this morning to Elly being blind. i thought it may have been high blood pressure, which results in the retinas detatching causeing blindness. So, i get to the vet, she has a thorough check up and is diagnosed with having a cancerous tumor on her nose that has spread to her eyes and brain. So without any hesitation, i had the vet put my poor baby to sleep. i didnt want her to suffer anymore than she had to. The cancer was eventually going to cover her entire head and with no cure she is at peace now.

  1. I'm so sorry for your loss. We lost our fur baby in a similar way so quickly earlier this year. Hugs to you!

  7. So sorry for the loss of you beautiful Elly. I had to make the same decision with my cat, and while you know you did the right thing it is still such a heartbreaking loss to deal with as they are such a huge part of our families and lives. She was blessed to have such a wonderful home and a family that loved her. Sending lots of hugs your way.
