Colour my World Swatch Booklet Download

I made this little colour swatch booklet a while ago now, and it has been pretty popular on Splicoast Stampers. I thought I would plop it on my blog for everyone who doesn't know about Splitcoast.

Page 6 has the instructions of how to put the booklet together and page 7 has dividers (that you can place where ever you like). Please do not think that you have to follow any specific rules when using downloads from my blog. Thanks for looking, have fun building and, please let me know what you think.
When then new colours arrive from Stampin Up, I will be updating (or rather) making a newer version.

Class Tutorial - Easel Card

Just a quick note about my Class Tutorials. These are guides only to creating cards with basic measurements. You can change the measurements, card colours, stamp sets etc. They are not a (you have to do this tutorial), feel free to do what you want with them. Just don't reproduce them...Y'all know what I mean.

I have included samples of my cards with the guides as an idea of what can be done with the tutorials. They are not designed to reproduce my cards, but feel free if you wish to. Most products I use are Stampin Up naturally, who in no way endorse my end product.

Side Step Card

Wow, I had a lot of fun doing this card. I am trying really hard to post the tutorial on this blog, but alas I am having a little bit of trouble. If you keep checking back, it will be here soon. The tutorial has examples of two different step cards. I have spent all morning typing them up, so fingers crossed, I will be able to post it here.
A lot of the materials used in this card is 'old stock' from Stampin Up. Although only being a demonstrator of a little while, everything is still pretty new to me.

Mojo Monday Sketch 147

Finally after years of following Mojo Monday s' sketches, I have finally made a card. I have used some of the discontinued patterned paper and alas, discontinued stamps. Although, I really don't think that any of the supplies I have are really discontinued. If you want to have a go at this sketch, check out the Mojo site. It really is a fun way of making a card.

I made this card while the girls were playing with their Buckle Cards this morning.

I used one of Dustin Pikes digital images for the main image and Stampin Up designer papers just finished off the card nicely.

I think I will be using more of Dustins' digital stamps in the future. He is an extremely talented artist. Oh I  am so jealous of talented people. LOL

Buckle Card Technique

Here is the 'Buckle Card' the class made this week.

Measurements for the card base are as follows:

Chocolate Chip 7" x 5 1/2 " (score on left hand side @ 2 3/4")

Bashful Blue cut enough to fit inside the chocolate chip back.

Bashful Blue 'Buckle' measures 1 1/2" x 5" (scoring @ 3 1/2")

Shirts, Shirts and more Shirts

 

Here are the cards I have made for my children to give their father for Fathers' Day this year. The only problem I have is that I can't choose which ones to use. I spent today making the vest card, template came from Amy Celona site http://www.ustamp4fun.com/. I made a few minor alterations, but all in all, the template was easy to use. I copied the template onto some heavy cardstock, so I will be making more of these cards for sure.

Colour Selector

While searching the internet this afternoon, (while working) I stumbled across this fantastic colour selection tool. Click on the icon on my sidebar and have a play. Best of all, it's FREE. I can't find who is responsible for this, but thank you anyway.

A Little Birdy Told Me

I saw this little booklet in the latest Kaiser craft magazine and instantly fell in love with it. All Kaiser craft products can be found at http://www.kaisercraft.com.au/. This project was definitely worth making, just to sit in my craft room. There are also printable sheets on the website for the names, addresses and birthday months. I would definitely recommend trying this project.

More Pun Fun

Here are the other cards I promised. All inspiration came from Becky Roberts, all I did was stamp and coloured them in. Hope you like them. I am going to be really upset when Stampin Up decide to discontinue this set. I have used it a lot on my blog, and can imaging that everyone is getting pretty sick of seeing them. Although, these card will probably not be the last you will see of Pun Fun.  :)

Baby Pram and Feeder

I found these little cards on Splitcoast Stampers the other day and just had to try them out.

All cards are used with the Sizzix Big Shot Scalloped Circle dies.

I am definitely making some more of these, in Bashful Blue, Barely Banana and Certainly Celery.
So easy, yet so effective.

Masking Technique

Here is the card my class will be making next week. We will be using the masking technique. Once again I have used my favorite stamp set. Pun Fun. I really must admit, I really love this set. I have masked the Hippo, to give the impression that he/she is standing in front of the other animals. The colour combination and card sketch came from Becky Roberts. I love the colours here together. Should be a great class. I have made a few more of these 'type' cards, so I will post the set once I have finished them properly.

Eastern Blooms

These cards here are made from a tutorial written by 'Demo to Demo', you can find the link on the left hand side of my blog. The tutorial has a card holder in it as well, but I just wanted to get the cards done for now.

Kissing Technique

Here is the card we made to demonstrate the 'kissing technique'. This is so simple to do, yet gives your stamps a whole different look.

Okay, so it's impossible

So for the past few weeks now I have been experimenting with Blogger. I have been trying to set up stand alone pages, adding the content only on those individual pages. Apparently, this can not happen. So I am removing the pages, and will possibly set up other blogs with the information, or just include the information on this blog.....Any suggestions.

Not really enough time yet.

Okay, Okay, I said that I would post a card with Kristinas' colour combination. Unfortunately, due to 'Football Day' at Daniels' special school, I went to that instead. Hopefully soon..........
