Boatloads of Love

Here are the cards I made a while ago using the Boatloads of love Stamp set from Stampin Up. I really enjoy making cards with these little boats in them. A really versatile stamp set, although, retiring at the end of August. :(  I think I am going to hang on to this set for a little while longer yet, still so much to do with this little tug boat. Hope you enjoy.

Technique Class

This is the card that we made for out Faux Stitching technique. I also love this stamp set, and a great example of why we have the Stamp a ma Jig.

The cardstock is all from the Earth Elements selection, which is my favorite set of colours.

Although I am looking forward to the New Colours coming out on WEDNESDAY. Very excited here in Australia.

Standing Tent Card

I made these cards using the tutorial from Splitcoast Stampers called a Tent Card. There is a link to the tutorial on the bottom of this post. Fingers crossed that it works.

I have used, once again, the Unfrogettable stamp set from Stampin Up.
Although retired, I still enjoy using the frogs, especially for kids cards.

I have even used some of Jersey Shore designer paper, which I might add, is also discontinued. But I have lots of it, so I will keep using it until it is all gone. You never know, by the time I use it all, it may be back.

Here is a side view of the tent card, although upon reflection, not a really good one.

Ink:  Old Olive (I use the stamp pad lid and blender pen for colouring)
Paper: Not Quite Navy, Whisper White, Old Olive

Twins by two

For some reason I have been making a lot of baby cards lately. I think that has something to do with the new releases (available 1st September 2010) of Stampin Up's baby stamps. One of my ladies from class was after a 'twins' card. I made these so she can CASE them. All products I used here are from Stampin Up, and the sentiment on the front of the card, I printed on the computer, changing the last line of text to coordinate with the base colour of the card.   Happy Stamping.

Bad Hair Day

Here is the latest Digital Scrapbook page I made this morning, while everyone was peacefully sleeping. This is one of my favorite pictures of Daniel's mischief.

The template came from Designer Digitals.
The cardstock also came from Designer Digitals.

I enjoy creating digital pages, there is no mess to clean up, I can change the elements if I need to and I can experiment with different papers until I get the look I am after.

If you can read the date on this page, it is December 2004.
I think I am a little bit behind with my scrapbooking.

Roller Wheel Fun

I made these on Saturday afternoon as an example of Stampin Up's new Baby Tees Roller Wheel.

Even though all the cards are the same, each one has their own personality.

I enjoy using the roller wheels in this manner just as much as using them for backgrounds etc.

Mojo Challenge Week 150

Here is my submission for the Mojo Monday Sketch 150.

I can personally now say, I have another addiction.
I can also say, if you haven't tried a mojo sketch, do it.

One for the little men

 

I can't believe I haven't posted these cards yet.

I made them when the stamps were new and have had them sitting in my craft room for months.

Does that suggest that my craft room is a little bit unorganised?

I guess I know what I am doing today, cleaning my craft room I would say.

I used the goodmorning sunshine designer papers for these cards. I really like this paper, and I think it looks great on little man cards. Nice and bright.

This is the second birthday bot card, using the same designer papers. You can tell by the image, that I hadn't tried the watercolour paper back then. Although I am not sure whether using the watercolour technique would have the same impact.

Another idea just just sprung to mind.

I should have used the little nuts and bolts from this set on my tool cards. Would have worked in rather well. So if anyone is going to CASE these cards, let me know how it goes.

Birthday Princess

Following the 'Side Step' card I made using the unfrogettable stamp set, I thought I had better make a card using a girlie set. This one I thought was just perfect. One of my ladies had requested a card that she can CASE for her granddaughters 10th birthday. I am hoping that she will like this one.

The tutorial for this style of card can be found under the heading tutorials. Although I did alter the width of the side step so I could fit the image of the princess in. Have fun.
